Kimberly and Joe eloped at the Grand Canyon back in March before the pandemic changed everything. As Covid continues to make life difficult, small elopements and micro-weddings also continue to make a lot of sense. Quite frankly, eloping pretty much always makes sense. We met at Moran Point about an hour or so before sunset. After a few getting ready finishing touches like figuring out how to put on a boutonneire (always a tricky prospect), Kimberly and Joe hopped over the railing wall and stepped out to their ceremony spot. Their guests (about 10 family and friends) watched from a few feet back as they exchanged vows. And a few minutes later they were married!

Eloping can really make getting married far less complicated. And it’s just as meaningful and monumental as having a larger celebration. It’s a bit quieter. A little more intimate. I love elopements. Here are some reasons to consider eloping in Arizona.

Anyway, after their ceremony, we walked out onto the point for some portraits. It was a beautiful evening. Pretty hard to beat. Enjoy!

Eloping is fun! Micro-Weddings are the best! Here are some more for inspiration:
