You could say Matt is full of surprises. He told his girlfriend Lauren he was taking her on a surprise weekend getaway and that she should pack a bag and prepare for a long drive. On Friday morning he drove her to the Airport (they live in Georgia) and surprised her with a flight to Phoenix and a trip to the Grand Canyon.
Chrissy and Alex tied the knot at the Chateau de Vie in Chandler, Arizona on an unseasonably warm and pleasant October evening. The Chateau is a beautiful wedding venue and the whole wedding party stayed the night throughout the mansion's seemingly endless bedrooms.
Happy New Year! 2016 was a great year for Ryan Williams Photography and I'm looking forward to 2017. It's tough to pull together a year in review post that feels complete. Julia and Rupert traveled from the UK to Sedona to get hitched. Why? Obviously Sedona is a pretty fantastic destination wedding location but, as Rupert and Julia told me, “why have a dreary, big churchy wedding like everyone else in England?” Or something like that.
Sarah and Rodney wanted to get married amidst the Aspens at Hart Prairie in October. But you never know what the weather will bring and by mid-october the wind can blow the leaves from the trees or an early snow can bring a quick end to fall colors. Not the case this year! Their wedding was magical under the yellow and orange hues and blue sky.
Derek proposed to Erin at Shoshone Point the day before Thanksgiving. The two have been together quite some time so Erin was naturally pretty happy Derek finally got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
